Each club has to register their colours, costume design and logos with LSA and must compete in these recognised club colours. Girls will compete in a full costume and may wear hot pants in their club colours while men compete in a speedo costume. All competitors must compete in their official skull caps which serve to identify a competitors club during races and help officials in ensuring that all races are run fairly and all competitors complete the full race course. Competitors may wear wetsuits in water events if the water temperature is measured at 16ºC or below, however in the WP it is generally accepted that competitors may wear suits regardless as the water is not often above this temperature and the wind-chill factor also adds to the competitor’s discomfort |
